Take the backing of one of the fastener strips and place loop on the back and the lower edge of the plastic runner. Press the plastic runner firmly against the rise and extend up and over the tread on the next step. Hold the plastic back before reaching the climb and secure another loop fastener strip on the back of the plastic carpet runners.
